Graduated with honours in Foreign Languages and Literature (degree course in "Intermediazione Linguistica per la Comunità Europea”, Linguistics Intermediation for the European Community), I started working as a freelance translator and teacher immediately after graduation. I believe in the importance of an ongoing training, to always offer customers a professional and high quality service. For this reason, I entered a second degree course in "Lingue Straniere per l’Impresa e la Cooperazione Internazionale" (Foreign Languages for Business and International Cooperation.) I also attained the Master in English Language, issued by The British Institutes, Level C2 of the Common European Framework (the highest level).
In the IT field, I achieved the ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence), successfully passing all the modules required about Microsoft Office, surfing the Internet and e-mail management.
I have found that, during the translation process, especially of technical texts, the knowledge of a CAT Tool is of major importance. I use the most well-known CAT Tool, Trados, and I am also TRADOS CERTIFIED (Level 3 - Translators Workbench.)

I love travelling and I have gone on many trips abroad. I had the opportunity to visit some of the most important European capitals (London, Vienna, Brussels). In England, I have attended several language courses, obtaining certificates issued by some of the most important colleges. During my degree course in “Intermediazione Linguistica per la Comunità Europea”, I won a scholarship and visited the facilities of the European Community, participating in debates and seminars in Brussels.

My working languages are English and French. I only translate from these languages into my mother tongue, Italian. Although I have a good familiarity with my source languages, I believe that a quality translation can only be performed by a translator who is specialised in the field and who has the mother tongue of the target language.

The texts I translate and proofread fall mainly within the medical, IT, educational and cultural, financial, legal and tourism fields. I also offer subtitling and transcription.

I manage all projects with the utmost professionalism and precision, while meeting the deadlines and following the project specifications. Customer satisfaction is my satisfaction.
